Jul 23, 2013 · Hey everyone, I have a 2001 Honda Accord EX Coupe 2.3L with a misfire problem. I have scanned the car and came up with the codes P0303(cylinder 3 mis) P0304(cylinder 4 mis) and P0300(random mis). Also, I’ve noticed that at low rpms it is really rough and a high rpms it smooths out. The codes were p0300 p0301 p0302 p0303 p0304. The old plugs looked pretty clean no oil whatsoever, but gaps looked a bit big, so I got the expensive plugs. A few weeks ago the cel came on again, this time it blinked.

Engine codes P0304 and P0420. Close. 2. Posted by 24 days ago. Engine codes P0304 and P0420 ... I should have just left things alone but a few weeks ago I picked up a 2004 Corolla with 168k miles with minimal maintenance. First thing I noticed was a fast idle, it would start around 2500rpm and just sit there, no CEL though. After doing some research most suggested an intake gasket, since... If the RPM of the crankshaft changes by more than 2%, this is when the engine will trigger the P0304 code. The P0304 OBD2 code specifically indicates a misfire in cylinder 4. You can use your car’s manual to locate this cylinder. It is common to also see P0300 and other misfire-related codes as well with P0304.

I took it to Autozone and the codes were P0303 and P0304. I thought maybe it was the fuel injectors. I put a bottle of Liqui Moly in it and the light went off 2 days later. The light came back on today, again no flashing, just solid. I took it back to Autozone and the code read P0304 and P0300 (random misfire). '''++Recardo Grady++''' Code 0304 is a continuous misfire code for cylinder #4. #4 is the rear cyl. on the pass. side. Causes can be a bad coil or a loss of fuel in that cyl. Depending on what size engine your vehicle has, one has the coil-on-plug system while the other does not. When the misfire monitor detects a misfire, it will trigger the check engine light with the specific cylinder number as the last digit in the P030X code. For instance cylinder 1 misfire is P0301, cylinder 2 is P0302 etc. In this case we are left with a P0304 in the computer memory.

Jul 09, 2016 · The issue we're having is with injector/cylinder 4, codes P0204 and P0304. I'm posting to ask if it is typical for the 3.5L V6 Chrysler engine (or other) to exhibit this behavior for a bad injector: runs very rough when cold, but when warm runs like a champ. Sep 16, 2018 · P0304 is a cylinder specific misfire code, which means that Cylinder 4 is misfiring and causing the code. An important thing to understand when finding the location of Cylinder 4 is that it’s going to be the 4’th cylinder in the firing order of the vehicle, and not the 4’th cylinder that you might see when looking at the engine.
